At Hydroblast safety is always our top priority. As a member of The Water Jetting Association, we are fully committed to the safety and well-being of our employees and the public when we work. But who is The Water Jetting Association and what does it mean to be a member?
Who is The Water Jetting Association?
Established 30 years ago, The Water Jetting Association is the most influential body in the hydrodemolition sector. Run by like-minded professionals, the Association is dedicated to raising safety standards within the high-pressure water jetting industry. To achieve this, The Water Jetting Association holds numerous City and Guilds accredited training and safety awareness courses. These courses, led by registered and approved instructors, test the participants’ theoretical and practical knowledge to ensure they can perform hydrodemoiliton tasks in a safe and correct manner.
What does it mean to be a member?
There are several benefits associated with being a member of The Water Jetting Association alongside the excellent training, ranging from advice on current legislation to contact with representative organisations overseas. However, becoming a member of this Association is no easy feat. Considered the benchmark for safety training throughout the water jetting industry, members must ensure that they attend and pass the mandatory training courses before they are given The Water Jetting Association’s stamp of approval. In addition to the mandatory courses, supplementary training is also offered and necessary for those wishing to undertake specialist applications. Once completed, this training must be renewed every three years to ensure compliance with current standards.
We, as proud members of the Association, continually strive to provide our clients with not just the safest but the best service possible. To find out more about the services we offer, contact us today.
